The facilities available for rent include the Main House, the Meadow Room, and an adjacent outdoor area. The entire facility can hold up to 100 people. Guests may reserve the whole facility or choose to rent the Main House or the Meadow Room separately. We recommend that you tour the facility to best determine how the space can work for your event.
Main House
The main house features a living room with a fireplace, 15-foot vaulted ceilings and large windows overlooking the lake. Combined with an open dining area, this room has 900 square feet of space for social gatherings or business retreats. A spacious deck off the living room adds to the capacity of the interior.
In addition, the Main House has two smaller meeting rooms that can hold 8 to 10 people around a conference table or 15 people in theatre-style seating. The Main House also has a buffet/food serving area and kitchen for use by approved caterers.
Meadow Room
The Meadow Room is separated from the Main House by a short covered walkway. With 1500 square feet of space, this room is suitable for receptions or larger meetings. With an entire wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, the Meadow Room brings in views of the natural surroundings of the preserve.
A small kitchenette is available for warming prepared food. The Meadow Room may be further divided into two spaces depending on the type of event.
Outdoor Area
The grassy area adjacent to the Meadow Room can be used for outdoor receptions, family reunions, or company picnics. There is room for a 20 by 30 foot outdoor canopy. (The canopy must be supplied by the renter.)
Toilet Facilities
There are two bathrooms in the main house and two wheelchair accessible, plumbed toilet facilities next to the Meadow Room.
Grounds
The grounds of the nature preserve and trails are open to Four Springs House guests. Strolling through the meadow, taking nature walks in the woods, and relaxing by the lake are just some of the benefits guests can enjoy during their event at Four Springs House. The Four Springs Preserve is a county park and open to the public during regular park hours. The Four Springs House and Meadow House are open only to renters.
Parking
A circular drive in front of the house is convenient for dropping off guests, delivering supplies, and for handicapped parking. There is lighted guest parking 75 feet from the entrance of the Main House.
